Since 2011, the King Abdullah II Fund for Development has chosen Maysalward to manage several capacity-building activities to support and cultivate the local gaming community. These include boot camps, developer events, and an annual gaming summit known as Pocket Gamer Connects Jordan. In addition, Maysalward has been running the App Challenge, a semi-annual event that invites 14 to 16-year-old school students to develop mobile games. He was awarded the King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein Order of Distinction of the Third Degree Medal in 2022 and the State Centennial Medal, one of the highest civilian decorations in Jordan.
